Defending Champions England will be experiencing elimination from the ongoing ODI World Cup unless they win their remaining three matches in the group stage. First of which, they are scheduled to play against Australia on Saturday at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. England are reeling at the bottom of the points table with one win out of six matches. They will need to win their match against Australia to have some hope of getting into the semi-final. It’s been an unexpectedly horrible campaign from England as they now scramble to hold on to some hope. Australia, on the other hand, have been on the four-match winning streak and would look to continue with the same intensity. Meanwhile, Australia will be missing the services of forceful duo of Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh who both are not playing this game. Maxwell was ruled out following a golf cart concussion while Marsh has headed back to Australia due to personal reasons. In their absence, Marcus Stoinis and Cameron Green will be retaining their places. England, meanwhile, will need a lot of brilliance to pin down Australia if they are looking for survival in the tournament.
