The thirty-third match of the World Cup will see the showdown between unbeaten India and beleaguered Sri Lanka on Thursday at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. India have been dealing in winning ways since the start of the tournament as they have been unbeatable so far with their six straight victories. India will eye another victory to secure their spot in the semi-final when they clash with Sri Lanka. Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma have been amongst the top-scorers for India whereas their bowling has been kept in touch with the likes Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav. Going into this match, India would hope to continue with the momentum. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, have been pummelled with negative results in most of their previous outings. Sri Lanka have played six matches in total, however, they have only registered two wins in the tournament while conceding four defeats. They are in a very perilous situation as they will need to win this match to have the slightest chance of getting into top-four.
