Hoping to alter their performance in order to get a victory, Pakistan will be making their last-ditch attempt to consolidate their chances of making it to the semi-final of the World Cup on Friday when they face surging South Africa at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Pakistan are struggling to keep themselves alive in the tournament with their three defeats in a row. After starting positively with two wickets, Pakistan have not been able to keep up with the momentum. Skipper Babar Azam would look forward to guiding the team towards victory path as the challenge is going to be huge against South Africa who have been on the winning streak in the tournament. Pakistan could look to make one or two changes to their squad as pitch at Chennai is quite turny and helpful for spinners. Pakistan may decide to bring in Fakhar Zaman in place of Imam-Ul-Haq and Mohammad Nawaz in place of Saud Shakeel. South Africa, on the other hand, have been powerful in their performance while maintaining the second position in the points table. Quinton de Kock, Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller have been superb in their attack with the bat and would look forward to repeating the same against Pakistan.
