Spinner Adam Zampa starred in Australia’s 62-run win over Pakistan on Friday at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Defending the total of 367, Australia bowled out Pakistan for (305) in (45.3) overs. Adam Zampa returned with four crucial wickets to assist Australia in their much needed win of the World Cup. Talking about match scenario, Asked to bat, Australia got off to a blazing start with Mitchell Marsh and David Warner putting on a solid stand of (259) for the first wicket. Both Marsh and Warner’s crucial knocks of (121) and (163) helped Australia hand a big target of (368) to Pakistan. Chasing the total, Pakistan too had a wonderful start with Imam-ul-Haq and Abdullah Shafique scoring (70) and (64) but Pakistan lost the rhythm after the wickets of their openers as Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel and Iftikhar Ahmed all failed to get big innings, thus losing the game by (62) runs.
