India announced their squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia which will get underway from September 22. India have come out with two squads for the series as they have decided to rest their senior players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for the first two matches. KL Rahul will be leading the team in the first two matches with Rohit Sharma set to return in the third ODI. Ravindra jadeja will be KL’s deputy in the first two matches. But, in India’s squad, the stark exclusion remained of Sanju Samson which has come as a big disappointment to the batter. Meanwhile, Sanju Samson has reacted to his omission from the squad.
“It is what it is !! I choose to keep moving forward,” wrote Samson on his social media account.
Recently, in Asia Cup tournament, Sanju Samson had been selected as the cover for injured KL Rahul. Once KL Rahul joined the team for the Asia Cup, Samson had been released. Now, he has been excluded from India’s squad for the series against Australia.
