Australia have named their 18-player squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series which is just a little ahead of the ODI World Cup. World Cup will be played in India starting from October 5. The ODI series between both teams will get underway from 22nd September in India. Pat Cummins will be leading the team which will be a big boost for the team as he is returning from injury. The return of Cameron Green, Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell will be a great consolidation for Australia. Biggest positive is also the return of Steve Smith who recovered from wrist injury. It will be a nice return for young Cameron Green who missed the South Africa series due to eight-day concussion protocol. Marnus Labuschagne had replaced Green in the South Africa series. Australia’s senior players also missed the ongoing ODI series against South Africa due to injuries. Glenn Maxwell was one of them who returned home following the injury.
