Comeback for Shimron Hetmyer as West Indies name squad for ODI series against India

West Indies have named their squad for the upcoming 3-suit ODI collection against India that is scheduled to start from twenty seventh July. Batter Shimron Hetmyer and speedy bowler Oshane Thomas have made their comeback to the group. After a long time, Hetmyer has made his go back to the group as he became ultimate visible in motion in ODIs for West Indies in July 2021. West Indies have no longer had a top notch time in terms of success because of their poor performance. recently, West Indies also didn’t qualify for the ODI international Cup (2023) at the same time as struggling defeats within the international Cup Qualifiers. Heading into this series, West Indies would want to get into some splendid rhythm after having had many setbacks.

West Indies chief selector Desmond Haynes welcomed Shimron Hetmyer and Oshane Thomas by stating that they both can be presenting a number of assist with their batting and bowling respectively.

“We welcome Oshane and Shimron back into the institution. each have performed at the international stage before, with some fulfillment, and we consider they will match properly into the set-up. Oshane brings tempo and is a potential wicket-taker with the brand new ball.
