
It was a totally incredible and sensational innings from Suryakumar Yadav in the India’s third T20I against West Indies on Tuesday where Suryakumar smashed a brilliant knock of (83) that included four sixes and ten boundaries. This powerful knock from Suryakumar helped India make their dominance over West Indies to register a 7-wicket win to save themselves from suffering series defeat.
With this spree of sixes, Suryakumar Yadav has become the third Indian after Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to have completed hundred sixes in the shorter format of the game. Rohit Sharma possesses (182) sixes while Virat Kohli stands with (117).
This is a big milestone for Yadav as his batting mostly comprises of attacking shots. Due to Suryakumar’s early batting onslaught in the third T20I, India clinched the victory as they were helped by in-form batter Tilak Varma down the order. In the last two matches, Yadav had not been able to maintain the momentum but he returned to his magnificent form on Tuesday. India will now meet West Indies in the fourth match on Saturday to level the series as WI are leading the five-match series 2-1.
