The second Test match between India and West Indies resulted in a draw after rain played spoilsports on day (5) of the second Test match on Monday at Queen’s Park Oval. With second match resulting in a draw, India won the series 1-0 as they (India) had already won the first match. There was no time to resume the game as rain didn’t allow the proceedings to get underway on day (5). India were already holding upper edge in the second Test after they did mammoth scoring in both of their innings.

India in their first innings had scored (438), in reply, West Indies could score (255) in their first innings. India had declared their second innings on (181/2d) that set the target of (365) for West Indies. West Indies were due to resume their second innings on day (5) as they were 76/2 but rain dominated the day that didn’t allow proceedings to take place.
