Australian skipper Pat Cummins is not feeling buoyant after retaining the ‘Ashes’ as the fourth Test match was forced to be drawn due to rain on Sunday at Manchester which resulted in Australia retaining the ashes. But, Australian captain Pat Cummins’s focus remains the fifth ashes Test that is going to be kicked off from 27th July at The Oval. Pat Cummins is already focused on the fifth match. Cummins is feeling happy after retaining the Ashes but he is looking forward to the next week as Australia would love to get back home with series victory.

“It’s a bit of a strange one. As a group (we are) proud that we’ve retained the ashes but it’s off the back of not our greatest week. So, it feels like good that we’ve retained the ashes but we know we’ve got a fair bit of work to do for next week,” said Cummins after the fourth Test was drawn due to rain on Sunday.

“In some regards whatever happened today wouldn’t really change how we look at next week. We want to win it so we make sure, we win it,” stated Cummins.
