Indian batter Virat Kohli registered his 29th Test century on Friday in the ongoing second Test match against West Indies at Queen’s Park Oval. It’s been really productive period for Virat Kohli as he has successfully been able to maintain his form. Virat Kohli’s century was one of the special ones for him as it has come nearly after five years. During those five years, Virat Kohli went through poor form that also brought him criticism but Kohli overcame all of that to create this fabulous moment for himself. Meanwhile, Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar also hailed Virat Kohli for his impressive innings.
Sachin Tendulkar took to his Instagram to commend Virat Kohli for his incredible innings. “Another day, another century by @virat.kohli. Well played!” wrote Tendulkar.
This was also Virat Kohli’s 500th international match as he became the first-ever player to score hundred in his 500th international game. Virat Kohli broke many records with his perfect hundred as this was also Kohli’s first away Test hundred since 2018.
