West Indies, on Saturday, on day three, will be resuming with their overnight score of 86/1 in their first innings of the ongoing second Test match against India that started on (20th July) at Queen’s Park, Oval. On day two, West Indies started their first innings after bowling out India in their first innings for (438). India’s first innings saw some of the great performances from their batters after Virat Kohli scored his 29th Test century.
There were also half-centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja. R Ashwin too scored half-century. With this powerful scoring, India have put themselves into a comfortable situation as West Indies lost their one wicket on day two. Going into day three, West Indies would want to register good score to get themselves nearer to India’s score.
